Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ5 pm. Note that it does not open on Wednesday. Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I recently visited this nursery shop and I must say it delivers an exceptionally strong and satisfying experience that truly stands out. From the very first step inside, the place feels alive with greenery, freshness, and perfectly maintained plants that instantly grab attention. The variety is massive and impressive, including beautifully grown indoor plants, vibrant flowering species, herbs, and strong outdoor treesβall looking healthy, fresh, and carefully nurtured. The entire nursery is organized in a smart and professional way, making it easy to explore without any hassle. What really makes this place powerful is the staffβthey are confident, skilled, and extremely knowledgeable. They donβt just assist; they actively guide you with clear, practical, and effective advice that shows real expertise in gardening. Their behavior is respectful, attentive, and focused on customer satisfaction. The prices are also reasonable considering the high-quality plants and service provided. Overall, this nursery is a top-tier destination for plant lovers, offering quality, variety, and professionalism all in one place. I highly recommend it without hesitation and will definitely return again.

Kim Thai has hard to find large indoor plants that will make a statement, bonsai, and everything in between. Their pots are very unique. Good service and good price.

KimThai Garden has the best selection of houseplants for a fair price in the LA area. A family run business with the friendliest service that goes the extra mile to make their customers happy. Perfect to find a gift for a friend or feed your plant addiction. Gorgeous setup every time and they have interesting plants you wonβt find at big box stores or other nurseries.

I love Kim Thai Garden! The employees are always super attentive and nice, their customer service is A1 :) About 80% of my plants are from them, and they're all thriving months later! Attached are just barely half of the plants I've purchased from them!
